Miki Kuusi keeps top spot with €80.6m as Finland’s highest earner

Miki Kuusi , founder of food delivery company Wolt, recorded Finland’s highest taxable income in 2024 with €80.6 million. Of this sum, €73.6 million came from earned income. The figure reflects a stock incentive programme linked to the 2021 acquisition of Wolt by US-based Doordash. The four-year programme is valued at €500 million and is being paid out in stages. Kuusi was also the top earner in 2023. His total tax bill in 2024 was €39.7 million, giving him a 49.3 percent effective tax rate.
