"Dozens of people rallied in Buenos Aires on Saturday against the 'Panuelos Negros' as the group held a march demanding the release of repressors convicted of crimes against humanity. Footage shows the simultaneous presence of demonstrators and groups opposing the march, which created moments of tension in different areas of the plaza. "We ask for the release and vindication of the political prisoners," 'Panuelos Negros' founder Asuncion Benedict said. The demonstration sparked widespread rejection from human rights organizations, social groups, and self-organized citizens who gathered to express their condemnation. "Today we are here because the genocidal people, torturers, and murderers called for the Mothers’ Plaza. We consider that not only are we not going to allow it, we are never going to allow it," a demonstrator of the opposing march. "In memory of the 30,000 disappeared comrades and particularly I want to remember them," she continued. Security personnel remained in the area to prevent incidents, while traffic in the surrounding streets was partially interrupted for much of the afternoon."
