RAM jam! Hundreds of pickups flood Zandvoort track in Guinness World Record attempt

"Hundreds of RAM pickup trucks converged at Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands to try to set a Guinness World Record for the largest pickup-truck parade. Footage filmed on Sunday shows a long line of RAM trucks driving and parked on the track, many decorated with flags and decals. Zandvoort is a historic motorsport venue, opened in 1948 and often regarded as one of Europe's classic race tracks. It hosted its first Grand Prix and Formula 1 World Championship in 1950 and 1952, respectively, after decades of occasional use, and returned to top-tier racing in 2021 as the host of the Dutch Grand Prix. Organisers said the event was more than a show of vehicle pride. "These are the most RAMs in one place that I ever saw,' one participant said, "It's crazy to be part of the Guinness World Record attempt." "It's overwhelming, it's surrealistic, all these cars, all the same but also different. It is a wonderful experience," added a second. While supporters call it a fun celebration of car culture, others criticised the noise, emissions and whether a racing track should host such a community parade. The procession wasn't the first non-racing use of Circuit Zandvoort; the track also hosts business events, sim-racing days, and casual public visits."
