Noah Schnapp has claimed that anyone who studied the latest Stranger Things might have deciphered one of season five’s biggest twists before the new storyline even got underway. The former child star reprises his performance as Will Byers in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, the first instalments of which premiered on Netflix last week. As those who’ve already binged through those episodes will know, the show recently teased that Will has powers of his own that he’s only just tapping into – which Noah has claimed could have been deciphered from the poster. View this post on Instagram During an interview with Glamour , it was pointed out that Will’s outward gaze in the poster mirrors that of Eleven, who he’s also positioned directly above. “You can see a strength in him on there,” he agreed. “And obviously, they didn’t want to spoil it with any blood or anything, but as close as you can get.” “Everything is very intentional that we do,” Noah added. The fifth season of Stranger Things has so far received a somewhat mixed response from critics , but has proved hugely popular with Netflix users, topping the platform’s most-watched shows list as soon as it premiered. Fans don’t have too long to wait until the next instalments in the story arrive, with three more episodes dropping on Christmas Day , and the feature-length finale following on New Year’s Eve . Noah was just 12 years old when he made his debut as Will Byers, and in the years since, he’s appeared in Stephen Spielberg’s Bridge Of Spies and lent his voice to Charlie Brown in 2015’s The Peanuts Movie. In the years since Stranger Things’ debut, Noah has made headlines outside of the show, coming out as gay in 2023 , shortly after his character Will’s sexuality was first alluded to within the show .
