MANILA, Philippines — The rehabilitation of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) began on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, in Pasay City, local authorities said. The Pasay Traffic and Parking Management Office said the laying of construction materials started along a Makati-bound lane of the Edsa–Roxas Boulevard intersection in the wee hours of the morning. “Expect slow traffic flow in the said area,” the office said in a Facebook post.
