Songwriters ordered to pay Mariah Carey in 'All I Want for Christmas' lawsuit

A Los Angeles judge ordered the two songwriters and their counsel who filed a copyright lawsuit against Mariah Carey in relation to her 1994 Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” to pay her over $92,000 in sanctions. According to the legal documents obtained by American news site TMZ on Tuesday, Dec. 23, judge Monica Almadani, who dismissed the lawsuit in March, ordered sanctions against Andy Stone and Troy Powers.
