DENR: Celebrate Christmas ‘responsibly’ through waste reduction

MANILA, Philippines — This Christmas, the public ought to “celebrate responsibly” by adopting “eco-friendly” practices to reduce waste, according to the environment department. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), in a statement on Wednesday or a day before Christmas, urged Filipinos to practice the “5Rs” of waste management.
