Finland’s population reached 5,656,394 at the end of November 2025, according to preliminary data from Statistics Finland. The population increased by 20,423 during the period from January to November. The growth came entirely from net migration. Finland recorded 46,856 arrivals from abroad and 14,057 departures, resulting in a net migration gain of 32,799 people. Natural population change remained negative.
