MANILA, Philippines — With the expected influx of passengers for the holiday season, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Christmas Eve said that immigration officers processed over 110,000 travelers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) on December 23, 2025. According to the BI, 49,176 international arrivals and 61,784 international departures were processed at the Naia on the said date. The BI noted that 132 additional immigration officers were deployed nationwide, which will augment the activation of mobile immigration counters in high-traffic terminals.
