MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon and easterlies will continue to bring rains in parts of the country for the next 24 hours, the state weather bureau said on Thursday. In a 24-hour weather forecast issued at 4 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the northeast monsoon or amihan, is affecting Luzon, while easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean are prevailing over the rest of the country.
