Volodymyr Zelenskyi has released a 20-point draft peace proposal aimed at ending Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The plan, shaped in weeks of negotiations between Ukrainian and US officials, outlines a framework for ceasefire, territorial status, security guarantees, and Ukraine’s future international alignment. The proposal was made public on Christmas Eve. It would require Russia’s and Western leaders’ signatures before taking effect. If approved, a ceasefire would begin immediately.
