Donald Trump Tells Iranian Protesters 'Help Is On Its Way' As Death Toll Tops 2,000

Donald Trump has told anti-government protesters facing a brutal crackdown in Iran that “help is on its way”. The US president told opponents of the Islamic regime to “keep protesting, take over your institutions” as the estimated death toll reached 2,000. Trump also said he had cancelled all meetings with Iranian officials “until the senseless killing of protesters stops”.
