Government eyes ways to reduce cost of electricity – Marcos

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday shared that the government is seeking ways to improve the country’s energy sector to reduce the cost of electricity without losing reliability. Marcos, in his speech during the transition of stewardship of the Caliraya-Botocan-Kalayaan Hydroelectric Power Plants (CBK HEPP) in Kalayaan, Laguna, said that a stable power supply keeps essential services and industries running and, more importantly, gives families peace of mind.
