MANILA, Philippines — Following the designation of a new Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) spokesperson for maritime affairs, the agency on Monday is fending off any possible impression that the appointment has something to with the ‘word war’ between the Chinese Embassy and some Philippine public officials.
