BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The Senate blue ribbon committee’s decision to consider recommending a preliminary investigation—rather than pushing for the possible filing of criminal charges—against incumbent senators Francis “Chiz” Escudero, Jinggoy Estrada, and Joel Villanueva over their alleged involvement in the flood control scandal is “politics,” according to Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla. “That’s politics.
