Classes in some schools in Albay town remain suspended due to ashfall

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay — Classes in schools affected by ashfall from Mayon Volcano in Camalig town in Albay were still suspended on Tuesday and Wednesday. Mayor Carlos Irwin Baldo Jr. said the in-person classes in Camalig North Central School, Bariw Elementary School, Cabangan Elementary School and Quirangay Elementary School remained suspended due to risk of exposure to volcanic ash.
