DOTr relieves 6 PCG, 8 Marina officers over Basilan ferry tragedy

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has relieved six officers of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and eight officers of the Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) who were involved in the sinking of MV Trisha Kerstin 3 in Basilan province, which killed 52 people.
