MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. respects China’s freedom of expression and will remain “firm but diplomatic” following its criticism of a Senate resolution condemning remarks by the Chinese Embassy that targeted Philippine officials and institutions, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said on Wednesday.
