MANILA, Philippines — The National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP) defended journalist Christina Chi on Wednesday after the 2nd Infantry Division (2ID) of the Philippine Army called her out for “the repetition of demonstrably false or misleading assertions.”  Chi works for Philstar Global, the online platform of The Philippine Star, which operates a separate newsroom and produces content independently of the broadsheet.
