Zambo Customs exec tags private wharfs, pols in smuggling

MANILA, Philippines — The existence of over 100 private wharfs linked to politicians in the Zamboanga area has made it difficult for authorities to curb smuggling in the area, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) district collector for that area said on Wednesday.
