MANDAUE CITY, Cebu – The Mandaue City government has allocated P100 million for flood control projects along a portion of the Butuanon River in Sitio Talong, Barangay Paknaan. Mayor Thadeo “Jonkie” Ouano said the city decided to take the lead in funding improvements for the identified stretch of the river, noting that the Butuanon River spans a long distance and cannot be addressed all at once.
