CARMONA, Cavite — The push for an anti-political dynasty bill met stiff resistance here, as residents who spoke during public consultations held by the House of Representatives’ Committee on suffrage and electoral reforms urged lawmakers to address corruption first. John dela Cruz from General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) said that Carmona was once a dumpsite for trash and dead bodies.
