MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) intercepted an estimated P36.8 million worth of crystal methamphetamine or “shabu,” at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) cargo facility in Pasay City on Wednesday. Operatives from the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG) discovered three abandoned parcels containing approximately 5.4 kilograms of suspected shabu during routine X-ray cargo screening and manual inspection.
