MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Robin Padilla on Thursday backed his colleagues who earned the ire of the Chinese Embassy, while Sen. Raffy Tulfo said the Chinese ambassador is too sensitive or “onion-skinned.” Padilla and Tulfo made their respective remarks as the Chinese embassy directly addressed Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, who responded to China’s criticisms against Senate Resolution No. 256.
