Finland will see dry and cold conditions during the first winter holiday week, according to the Finnish Meteorological Institute. Forecasts issued on 12 February show daytime temperatures between -5°C and -15°C across most of the country. Night-time readings will fall further under clear skies. In southern areas, temperatures will drop to between -15°C and -20°C. In central and northern regions, lows of -20°C to -30°C are expected.
