MANILA, Philippines — Farmgate prices of palay began to rebound after the government imposed a four-month halt on rice imports, the Department of Agriculture (DA) said Friday. As of Jan. 30, dry palay climbed to P21.52 per kilogram, while fresh palay rose to P18.42 per kilogram.
