Pokemon Day 2026 is here, and the franchise is kicking off its 30th anniversary celebrations with a brand-new Pokemon Presents livestream. The stars certainly look like they're aligning for a reveal, and the reveal of a new mainline game would be a great way to end the show on a high note. Nintendo is making a Game Boy-inspired music player Now available through the Pokemon Center, this mini music player looks just like the original Game Boy and will play 45 tracks from the Pokemon Red and Blue games. Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket can grab the new Paldean Wonders booster pack starting today. The game will also host several new events and daily rewards for logging in. Pokemon Masters EX is getting a familiar face from the past Red, the original Pokemon trainer from Pokemon Red and Blue, joins the mobile game soon. Another Pokemon classic is coming to Switch 2 Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness joins the GameCube Classics library for Switch 2 in March 2026. Pokemon Champions Pokemon Champions--the battling-focused spin-off--will launch for Switch consoles in April and for mobile at a later date. Pokemon Pokopia looks like a crafter's dream game Ahead of its release on March 5, Nintendo showed off more Pokemon Pokopia gameplay and the real star of the game, Chef Dente. Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen are now available to play on Switch consoles, and both games will be compatible with Pokemon Home. The subscription-based app will allow players to link their pocket monsters with Pokemon Champions and send them to other games like Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Pokemon Legends: Z-A introduced a new Mega Dragon A new Garchomp Mega Evolution--Mega Garchomp Z--has been discovered in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. This new version of the fan-favorite Dragon-type Pokemon will be exclusive to owners of the Mega Dimension DLC. Pokemon Winds and Waves is revealed Pokemon Gen 10 has been officially revealed, but it won't be out this year. Pokemon Winds and Waves will launch for Switch 2 in 2027.
