"Eduardo Bolsonaro, the son of Brazil's former incarcerated president Jair Bolsonaro, warned that Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban may face political persecution if he loses in the upcoming elections in April. Jair Bolsonaro is serving a 27-year prison sentence for attempting to overturn his defeat in the 2022 presidential election. "What the Supreme Court in Brazil is seeking is not justice. What they are seeking is revenge. And they literally want to kill my father," Eduardo said during the CPAC summit on Saturday. "It's what is going to happen with Orban if you lose the election here. It's what they tried to do with President Trump in the US," he added. Brazil is slated to elect its new president in October, with Eduardo Bolsonaro's elder brother, Flavio Bolsonaro, a main contender in the polls. "My brother is leading the polls and hopes that in the next year, we will go back here with the president of Brazil to shake hands with the greatest prime minister of Europe, which is Viktor Orban," he stated. The vote in Hungary is scheduled for April 12, and the election has narrowed down to Orban, who is seeking his fifth consecutive term, and Peter Magyar of the Tisza Party. The CPAC gathering is a forum for conservative and nationalist voices, with figures like German AfD co-chair Alice Weidel and Spanish Vox leader Santiago Abascal also in attendance. It will run until Sunday in the Hungarian capital."
