'Like stopping Nazi Germany in the early 1930s' - Netanyahu's son warns of nuclear World War III, backs Iran offensive at CPAC Hungary

"Israeli prime minister's son Yair Netanyahu warned that the current conflict in the Middle East is preventing a larger global war, describing Iran as the root cause of regional instability over the past four decades during remarks at CPAC Hungary in Budapest on Saturday. He called Iran "the main source of terrorism and chaos" in the Middle East over the past four decades, linking Tehran to multiple regional conflicts through proxy groups, including Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis and Shia militias. He argued that Iran's military ambitions posed a direct threat not only to the region but also to Europe and the United States, stating that the country had been developing ballistic missile capabilities capable of reaching Western targets, alongside efforts to acquire nuclear weapons. "Think about how bad the situation would have been if this regime had obtained nuclear weapons and tens of thousands of ballistic missiles that could reach the United States," Netanyahu asserted. "This would have guaranteed World War III, and a nuclear one at that." He claimed that the current confrontation comes at a critical moment. "This war, when Iran is at its weakest point, is preventing World War III. This is like stopping Nazi Germany in the early 1930s, when it was still weak, and preventing the suffering of World War II." Netanyahu insisted that once the Iranian regime is brought low, the Middle East will be "much more peaceful, secure, and safe." The remarks come amid escalating tensions following a series of military exchanges across the region. The Israeli prime minister's son also praised Victor Orban for putting Hungarian interests first and knowing 'how to push back on Brussels', noting other Western European leaders handed sovereignty to 'unelected bureaucrats' who did not have "the best interests of their people at heart." CPAC Hungary is an annual gathering of conservative political figures and commentators from Europe and beyond, hosted in Budapest. This year's conference brings together a wide range of international figures, including politicians from across Europe and Latin America, such as Argentine Javier Milei, Dutch Geert Wilders, Brazilian Eduardo Bolsonar and Spanish Santiago Abascal."
