THE Manila Times School of Journalism will hold a one-day masterclass, titled “Communicate with Confidence & Impact,” on April 11 at the Sitio Grande Building in Intramuros, Manila. The workshop aims to help participants strengthen their public speaking, communication and presentation skills — key tools for future journalists, media practitioners and professionals alike. Leading the session is Gianna Abao, a well-known public speaker, content creator and communication coach. Abao has built a large online following by sharing practical public speaking, writing, and confidence-building tips, especially through her TikTok account, where she empowers viewers to improve their communication skills. She is also recognized for her work in helping young people and professionals overcome stage fright and speak more confidently in front of audiences, through her engaging online presence and advocacy for clear communication. The masterclass will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to high school students. The Manila Times School of Journalism continues its commitment to equipping the next generation of journalists and communicators with real-world skills.
