Three Palestinians were killed and eight others injured on Sunday in an Israeli drone strike targeting a police vehicle in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to medical sources, reported Xinhua. Al-Awda Hospital in the camp said in a press statement that three bodies and eight injured individuals were received following the strike. Meanwhile, the Hamas-run interior authorities in Gaza said in a press statement that an Israeli drone struck a police vehicle while it was "on duty" at the Abu Srar junction in the camp, resulting in multiple casualties. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military regarding the incident. Gaza's health authorities said Wednesday that the death toll since Oct. 7, 2023, had risen to 72,253, with 171,912 wounded. The authorities added that the death toll since a ceasefire came into effect in October 2025 had reached 677, with 1,813 injuries.
