The Federal Army has significantly reduced its CO2 emissions in infrastructure operations by switching to 100 percent certified green electricity. Emissions dropped from around 22,550 to about 1,440 tons annually, which corresponds to a reduction of over 90 percent. This makes the army's infrastructure more environmentally friendly by using fully renewable electricity from Austria.
