The Reggae Boyz kept their FIFA World Cup dream alive with a 1-0 semi-final victory over New Caledonia in a playoff tournament in Mexico on Thursday night. They will now face the Demoratic Republic of Congo on March 31 for a place at the FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by Canada, the United States and Mexico. Bailey-Tye Cadamarteri scored the game's only goal in the 20th minute. Jamaica, the 70th ranked team in the world, is chasing a return to the finals for the first time since 1998. New Caledonia is ranked 153rd while the DR Congo is 46th.
