Over 53,000 cops, 2,900 vehicles deployed for Day 2 of transport strike

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 53,789 personnel and 2,907 vehicles have been deployed by the Philippine National Police (PNP) for the second day of the transport strike across the country on Friday, March 28. “The PNP’s deployment continues on the second day,” the agency’s spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuaño, said in a press briefing on Friday.
