Vietnam slashes fuel taxes to zero percent, suspends VAT amid global oil volatility

Vietnam has temporarily cut the environmental protection tax on gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel to zero VND per liter and the special consumption tax on gasoline to zero percent, while suspending value-added tax (VAT) declaration and payment obligations on selected petroleum products, according to a prime ministerial decision.
