DOH to raise Code White Alert for Holy Week

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) is set to raise a Code White Alert for Holy Week. In a statement late Friday, the agency said the alert would be in effect from March 30 to April 6, 2026, as part of the agency’s preparedness and response measures. Under the Code White Alert, health emergency teams, medical supplies, and emergency rooms in DOH hospitals are on standby 24/7 to respond to road crash incidents, injuries, and other health-related emergencies in the coming week.
