MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has implemented measures to expedite the processing of fuel imports in the country, as well as daily monitoring and fuel marking, to ensure a steady fuel supply amid oil price hikes due to tensions in the Middle East. BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, through Memorandum No. 36-2026 dated March 23, instructed all ports to prioritize the processing and monitoring of all petroleum imports.
