Pagadian City forms task force to regulate prices amid global oil crisis

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur — Pagadian City Mayor Samuel Co has signed Executive Order No. 6, Series of 2026, creating the Price Regulatory Task Force of Pagadian City, a body mandated to monitor and enforce fair pricing of basic goods and petroleum products in the city. The task force is tasked with conducting regular inspections of stores, markets, groceries, and fuel stations; monitoring the supply and prices of necessities and prime commodities; and enforcing measures against hoarding and profiteering in coordination with national agencies.
