'Get to protected areas' - First responders remind public after at least 1 dead, 4 others injured from missile fragments in Tel Aviv

"First responders arrived at the impact site of a missile fragment in Tel Aviv following reported Iranian missile attacks on Friday. Footage shows a crater purportedly left by the missile impact and a damaged residential building. Rescue and security teams can also be seen working at the incident site and cordoning off the area. "We are dealing with a cluster missile strike in the entire district [...] There is a fatality here, in another scene, a building that was destroyed, there were trapped people who were rescued," an emergency worker commented. The attack left at least one person killed and four injured in the same region. A 52-year-old man killed by shrapnel was not in a bomb shelter at the time of the incident. "I remind everyone, you must follow the guidelines, do not be complacent, get to protected areas," he continued. Tel Aviv's Lev Police Station commander Rotem Vasker claimed that the fragment came from a cluster bomb that hit the road. "Even a minimal amount of shrapnel from this scene is enough to hit a person who wasn't in a protected area, and unfortunately, we had to; medical teams had to pronounce him dead," he added. Multiple locations in and around Tel Aviv were also hit by missile fragments and shrapnel, causing significant damage.  Tensions have escalated across the Middle East since the United States and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28, amid diplomatic talks aimed at 'curbing Iran's nuclear and missile programmes'. Tehran responded with retaliatory strikes on Israeli and US assets in the region, accompanied by reports of explosions in several Gulf countries."
