Reduced to rubble - Charred cars, twisted metal across Tehran repair hub as US-Israeli strikes continue

"The aftermath of strikes on a car repair centre in a commercial district of Tehran was visible on Saturday, with widespread damage to vehicles and equipment as US-Israeli attacks continue across the country. Footage shows the heavily damaged site, with charred vehicles and debris scattered across the facility, including the destroyed maintenance sections for Nissan and Mercedes cars. Arash Ali Mohammadi, sales manager at Hyper Khodro Company, described the scale of the damage. "There are around 70 damaged cars here, and another 160 to 170 vehicles were hit at the delivery office, where they were ready to be handed over to customers. We had 27 employees injured, and one person was killed," he said. Pirhossein Kolivand, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, said the site was a civilian commercial facility where more than 400 people worked, while many others relied on it for vehicle repairs and spare parts. Kolivand also pointed to the broader scale of damage across the country, saying more than 93,000 non-military sites had been hit since the start of the conflict, including 71,000 residential buildings and more than 20,000 commercial locations. He also added that Iran would welcome aid from any country willing to help, citing support from Russia, China, Iraq and several neighbouring states. "Anyone from anywhere in the world who wants to help, we won't reject; we will accept it. So far, Russia has helped, Tajikistan has helped, China is helping, Iraq is regularly helping, Armenia has helped, Uzbekistan has helped, and Azerbaijan has contributed as well. India has also promised help and is sending goods," he added. The US and Israel launched strikes on Iran on February 28. Tehran responded with strikes on Israel and US assets in the region, with the conflict now into its fourth week. Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon have also traded cross-border strikes."
