LOOK: LTO-7 intensifies anti-drunk driving campaign in Cebu City

MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — At least nine motorists tested positive for alcohol intoxication during an anti-drunk driving drive initiated by the Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO-7) Saturday night, March 28, 2026. In an advisory, LTO-7 said that these motorists were turned over to the Cebu City Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) for proper handling while their vehicles were impounded at the LTO Talisay District Office. “LTO-7 reiterated its firm stance against drunk driving and warned motorists to strictly comply with traffic laws, emphasizing that enforcement operations will continue to ensure road safety,” the agency said.
