Manila Water announces service disruption in parts of Metro Manila, Rizal

MANILA, Philippines—The Manila Water Company (Manila Water) said some areas in Metro Manila and Rizal will have service interruptions due to maintenance and service improvement activities. From 9 p.m. on March 30 to 4 a.m. on March 31, portions of Barangay Mauway, Addition Hills, and Plainview in Mandaluyong City will experience service interruption due to the installation of a PVC valve along NCMH corner Road 10. On March 31, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on April 1, residents in Barangay Santolan, Pasig City will be affected by a temporary water interruption due to a zero pressure test along Evangelista Avenue up to the corner of Gabriel Street. During the same period, portions of Barangay Calzada in Taguig City, particularly along Lontoc and Virata streets, will experience service disruption due to step testing activities. Meanwhile, in Rizal province, parts of Barangay Manggahan in Rodriguez will have water interruption from 10 p.m. on April 6 to 4 a.m. on April 7 due to leak repair works along Millex Road. Also in Rizal, portions of Barangay San Roque in Antipolo City will be affected during the same period due to line meter replacement along Marigman Road. Manila Water advised affected residents to store enough water ahead of the scheduled activities and to flush their taps for a few minutes once water service resumes until it runs clear. The company added that customers may contact its hotline 1627 or its official social media pages for updates and concerns.
