General : Chicken Processing Firm Fined For Polluting Effluent In Kedah

ALOR SETAR, March 29 (Bernama) -- A chicken slaughtering company in Bukit Pinang was fined RM30,000 by the Sessions Court here today for failing to comply with industrial effluent discharge standards. in Alor Setar after pleading guilty to two offences under the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
