CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Cebu City Government will sell subsidized rice at ₱20 per kilo to qualified residents in selected barangays from March 30 to April 1, 2026. The “Benteng Bigas” rollout aims to ease food costs for vulnerable groups by providing limited and regulated access to cheaper rice through government-backed distribution channels.
