MANILA, Philippines — Filipino workers are increasingly finding workplace happiness not just in compensation, but in meaningful work, career growth and feeling valued by their employers, according to a new report by JobStreet by SEEK. The latest Workplace Happiness Index: Philippines 2025 found that 77% of Filipino employees described themselves as either “extremely happy” or “somewhat happy” at work, placing the Philippines second among surveyed Asia-Pacific markets after Indonesia. The study, however, also pointed to ongoing challenges inside workplaces, including burnout, stress, career uncertainty and concerns over artificial intelligence.
