CEBU CITY, Philippines — Health officials in Central Visayas have raised concern over a sharp decline in childhood immunization, after new data showed that fewer than half of toddlers in the region are now fully vaccinated. The findings were revealed on Thursday by the Philippine Statistics Authority in Central Visayas (PSA-7) as it released the results of the 2025 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS). The survey showed that only 49.3 percent of children aged 12 to 23 months in the region had received all recommended vaccine doses and completed their immunization schedule.
