PNP intelligence director is new deputy chief for operations

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) Directorate for Intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Wilson Joseph Lopez was appointed the agency’s new deputy chief for operations. Lopez replaced outgoing PNP deputy chief for operations Lt. Gen. Edgar Allan Okubo, who retired from the police service on Thursday. Lopez’ appointment was done through Special Order No. NHQ-SO-URA-2026-4623 dated May 20 and effective May 21.
