BACOLOD CITY — About 40 percent of consumers served by the Bacolod City Water District (BACIWA)-PrimeWater are experiencing reduced water supply due to the ongoing dry spell and pipe leakages, a BACIWA official said Thursday. Engr. Michael Soliva, officer in charge of BACIWA, said the utility’s available water supply stood at 90 million liters per day (MLD) as of May 19, resulting in a 30 MLD deficit.
