LUCENA CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested two alleged high-value drug suspects and seized over P2.1 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation early Friday, as authorities intensified their campaign against illegal drugs in this city. Lt. Col. Ryan Hernandez, Lucena City police chief, said the suspects, identified only by their aliases “Rodel,” 37, and “Slight,” 26, were arrested at 5:24 a.m. in Barangay Ilayang Iyam after allegedly selling P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer posing as a buyer.
