A fire has broken out at a hotel in central Auckland, with smoke billowing from the multi-storey building. Multiple witnesses told the Herald that the blaze is coming from the DoubleTree by Hilton on Albert St. Photos from the scene shows a large fire streaming out of a window of one of the top floors of the hotel. Fire and Emergency were notified of the fire about 2.21pm, with three stations responding. The Herald has contacted emergency services for comment. More to come ...
